Cloudsurfing is a brand centred around my (Jack Cockington) graphic design work. The central idea that brings everything together is the Australian coast. The ideas vary from each work but they all transpired from my experiences, sometimes as an outsider looking in on the culture, and most of the time as apart of it. My main goal from this project is to bring more colour to the shirts people wear and allow art to be showcased in a wearable and fashionable medium. 

The name Cloudsurfing was coined from photographing my friends surfing and their interaction with the whitewash, which mimmicked clouds in colour and in texture in the slower shutter speeds. As I began learning basic graphic design to help out with social media of my sports team, I began thinking of the cloudsurfing concept as a work of art. This being my first attempt at the proper design artwork, I decided cloudsurfing would be the official name of my brand identity as it resembles the place I'm from and the idea that began this whole journey.
